Roberto graduated from the University of São Paulo Law School (FADUSP) in 1996 and has extensive experience in M&A, corporate law, banking, capital markets and real estate. He earned a postgraduate specialization in Business Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) in 1999, completed an LL.M. in Financial Markets at IBMEC São Paulo in 2004, and an Executive LL.M. in Business Law at CEU Law School in 2019/2020.

Roberto has been recognized multiple times by Análise Advocacia and other legal rankings as one of Brazil’s most admired lawyers in his areas of practice.

Roberto has advised domestic and international companies across a wide range of industries on local and cross-border transactions, as well as financing and capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on structured debt. His practice includes business planning, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and spin-offs, structured public and private offerings, loan agreements, debentures, commercial paper and other debt and securities offerings in Brazil and abroad.
